  3. Planned additions to EarthMap

  5. The current capabilities of EarthMap are not what they could be. What I
  6. considered to be of prime importance *is* there : convenient viewing
  7. (panning/zooming), and draw file output.
  8.  
  9. The following additions are planned :
  10.  
  11. - Editing of detail colours
  12. - Variable draw file page size (A4 currently)
  13. - Possibly improved zooming facilities (even though this is already
  14.   extensive, easy zooming is of vital importance)
  15. - 'Click-and-go' to (predefined) continents, countries, cities maybe, from
  16.   defined or maybe user-editable list
  17. - Coordinate boundary lines in viewer on/off (adjustable resolution)
  18. - Other projections (lots of maths, so would slow rendering and would present
  19.   much work)
  20. - Really smart 'background' redraw ... Well, current 'drag-skip' works ok ...

  22. As I have many other priorities, and I made EarthMap just for fun, don't hold
  23. your breath waiting for these to materialize. If needed, contact me at the
